Welcome to The Faerie Realm

The Hudson Valley Faerie Festival is a spring gathering at Forsyth Park in Kingston where families step into a living faerie realm — and become part of the story.

How the Day Unfolds

The festival isn't a schedule of attractions so much as a single afternoon-long story, and guests are in it from the first moment.

The day opens at the Welcome Tent, where every guest gets a map of the realm. Under the pavilion, hands go to work making natural wands and faerie crowns, while a faerie-served tea party pours magical color-changing tea alongside sweet treats.

Then the circle gathers. We wake our inner faeries together and the realm opens. The Faerie Queen and her Court are called in with music and dance, and the park becomes something else entirely.

For the rest of the afternoon, the realm is yours to wander. The Troll King and his friends turn up where you least expect them. Bubble and flower faeries drift through the crowd. A treasure hunt winds among the faerie houses, storytellers hold court on the lawns, and roaming musicians carry the day along.

It closes with the March of the Faeries — every guest, every creature, everyone, moving through the park together. Then the realm gently shuts until we meet again.

Why We Are

We know that Joy, Playfulness, and Love can transform anything and everything as this is our True Nature. The Fae know this, and help us to remember.

We believe every child everywhere has the right to realize that this gorgeous world is full of all sorts of beings and people, with each having worth, and that beauty can be found in almost every direction.

We believe this truth is why the Fae and the fae-friendly work so hard to ensure our planet is protected.

We believe that if children are taught early on of the beauty in diversity, and the diversity of beauty, they too will one day be good stewards to our planet, for our world and those who live upon it.

Who We Are

The Hudson Valley Faerie Festival is produced by Circle Creative Collective, a Hudson Valley nonprofit, in collaboration with local artists and organizations. Volunteers, decorators, musicians, performers, and a dedicated “How Can I Help” faemily bring the realm to life each year.

Costumes and making support come from the artisans of Artesanía, Circle's Latina women's artisan collective.

Our Roots

The festival grew from two beloved Circle gatherings: March O' the Faeries, held for years at the Old Dutch Church, and the Faerie Wonderland Tea Party. In 2026 they became one full-day festival at Forsyth Park.
