Yes—please reserve a donation ticket in advance if possible. Tickets help us estimate attendance and prepare enough crafts, treats, and magical surprises for everyone.
If you decide to come at the last minute, you are still welcome but may not have full access to treats and craft supplies.

The Hudson Valley Faerie Festival is pay-what-you-can so everyone can attend.
Suggested donations range from free to $40 per family, depending on what feels comfortable for you.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
If you are able, please consider choosing a higher tier or a Pay-It-Forward ticket to help another family attend.

The festival begins at 12:00 PM and unfolds as a shared story throughout the afternoon.
We recommend arriving close to noon so you can experience the full magical arc of the day—from the opening welcome to the final March of the Faeries.

Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Many guests come dressed as faeries, woodland creatures, elves, or forest wanderers, but you are welcome to arrive exactly as you are.
Some wings and faerie adornments may also be available at the welcome table.

We will provide small cupcakes, cookies, and magical color-changing cold tea for children and hungry adults.

-
You may want to bring a blanket for your group (waterproof is helpful if the ground has been wet). After the Faerie Queen has taken her throne, families can spread out on the lawn to enjoy the afternoon.
Comfortable shoes and clothing for outdoor weather are recommended.

Weather updates will be shared through email and social media.

Primary parking will be available at Forsyth Park and at the nearby Edson and Bailey schools, located just next to the park.
If those areas fill, overflow parking will be available at Dietz Stadium.
Visitors may also choose to park uptown in Kingston and enjoy a short 10–15 minute walk to the park.
Because the festival is popular, we recommend arriving early if possible.
Please respect neighborhood driveways and local access roads when parking.
